Privacy

Tune Watch collects no data.

The app uses your Apple Watch's microphone only while it is open, and only to work out the pitch of the note you are playing. The sound is analysed in memory on the watch and discarded straight away. Nothing is recorded, saved, or sent anywhere.

Your settings (such as instrument and reference pitch) are stored on your watch only. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party code that collects information.

The tuner shows nothing when I play. Check that the level bars at the bottom move. If they don't, open Settings › Privacy & Security › Microphone on your watch and allow Tune Watch.

The screen is upside down. Tune Watch follows your watch's orientation (Settings › General › Orientation). To turn just the tuner around, long-press it and switch on Flip screen.

How do I change instrument or reference pitch? Long-press anywhere on the tuner to open Settings.
